Dumpster rental prices in Southeast Michigan
Flat rates starting at $345. No “call for pricing,” no quote that changes once the truck shows up. Delivery, pickup, your rental days and a tonnage allowance are all built into the numbers below.
The prices on this page are our flat base-zone rate. Because we deliver from Dearborn, an address on the far side of Oakland, Macomb or Washtenaw County can add a delivery fee for the extra drive. The fastest way to see your exact number is to put your address into the booking portal.

What is actually in the price
Four things are already paid for before the truck ever leaves our yard. You will not see any of these four broken out as a separate line item later.
- Delivery to your address, placed where you tell us
- Pickup when you are done or when your rental days run out
- Disposal tonnage: 2 tons on a 15 yard, 3 on a 20, 4 on a 30
- Your booked rental days, 1 to 3 days depending on the size
What can move the number
Three things change the price: how far we drive, how long you keep it, and how much it weighs. Here is exactly how each one is billed.
Distance from our yard
The base rate covers Dearborn and the closer Wayne County cities. Addresses deeper into Oakland, Macomb or Washtenaw County can add a delivery fee for the longer round trip. It is quoted upfront when you enter your address, never added after delivery.
Extra days
Keeping the dumpster past your booked days runs $10 to $30 a day depending on size, and it is priced upfront on the size cards above. Call before your pickup date and we will extend it, no surprise fee on the back end. Most jobs wrap inside the days already booked.
Weight over your allowance
Debris over your included tonnage is billed at $75/ton, taken straight off a state-certified scale ticket weighed at the disposal facility before and after your load is dumped. No estimate, no eyeballing it, and the ticket is there if you want to see the numbers.
Per-item fees
Mattresses, Tires, Appliances containing freon, Large electronics can carry a per-item disposal fee at the facility. They are all allowed in the dumpster, just flag them when you book so we can tell you roughly what to expect instead of it showing up cold on pickup day.
A real example
Say you book a 20 yard for a kitchen remodel in Livonia. The flat rate is $395 for one day. The job runs long, so you keep it for three days instead: $425, already listed on the price card above, no phone call needed to find that number. When the truck weighs out at the disposal facility, your load comes in at 3.4 tons against the 3-ton allowance. That is 0.4 tons over at $75 a ton, or $30 added to the bill. Add the short delivery fee if your address is out past our base zone, and you have your total before the container ever leaves. No fuel surcharge, no environmental fee, no line item you did not see coming.
Most companies quote low, then add fees. We do not.
Call around Southeast Michigan and you will hear a low number on the phone, then find fuel surcharges, dump fees and an “environmental fee” on the invoice you never agreed to. We built all of that into the flat rate up front. The price you get after entering your address is the price you pay, unless you keep the container longer than booked or go over your weight allowance. Both of those are spelled out above, in real dollars, before you ever book.
Pricing and weight questions
How much does a dumpster rental cost?
Flat rates: $345 for a 15 yard, $395 for a 20 yard, $475 for a 30 yard, each with a one-day rental and 2 to 4 tons of disposal included. Delivery, pickup and dump fees are in the price. Extra days run $10 to $30, and weight over your allowance is billed at $75 per ton.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price you are quoted covers delivery, pickup, your rental days and the included tonnage. You would only pay more for two things: keeping the dumpster longer than booked, or going over the weight allowance, which is billed at $75 per ton straight from the disposal facility scale ticket.
How is the weight of my debris measured?
Our truck gets weighed at the disposal facility before and after emptying your dumpster. The difference is your load weight. Those scales are certified and regulated by the state bureau of weights and measures, and we pass the ticket through at cost if you go over your included tonnage.
How much weight can I put in a dumpster?
Each rental includes a set allowance: 2 tons in a 15 yard, 3 in a 20, 4 in a 30, and 10 tons in a concrete container. The hard ceiling is about 15 tons, because Department of Transportation rules limit what a roll-off truck can legally carry on the road.
