Empire Dumpsters is locally owned and operated out of Dearborn. We run our own trucks and our own crew, no brokered subcontractor showing up in someone else’s truck. When you call (313) 444-8442, you are talking to the company that delivers your dumpster and comes back to pick it up.
Matte black bins, green rails, same trucks you see on this page. We keep the fleet small enough that the driver who drops off your dumpster is usually the one who picks it up. That is less overhead for us and fewer surprises for you.
The number we give you is the number on your invoice
A lot of dumpster companies advertise a low starting number, then add delivery, fuel and a “dump fee” once you are on the invoice. We built our price the other way: delivery, pickup, your rental days and a set amount of disposal tonnage are all folded into the flat rate from the start. Rentals start at $345, published on this site, not “call for pricing.”
Weighed twice, billed at cost
Every load gets weighed at the disposal facility, once before your dumpster is emptied and once after. The difference is your load weight, and those scales are certified and regulated by the state bureau of weights and measures. Stay under your included tonnage and the flat rate is all you pay. Go over, and we pass the scale ticket through at $75/ton, at cost. Department of Transportation rules cap what a roll-off can legally carry on the road at around 15 tons, so there is a hard ceiling either way.
Junk we take, straight off your property
Most of what comes off a driveway or jobsite fits right in. A few items carry a per-item fee at the disposal facility, mattresses, tires and freon appliances among them. Not sure about something? Call (313) 444-8442 and ask before you load it.

We are careful with your driveway
You tell us where you want the dumpster and we put it there. Mark the spot with cones or chalk if you will not be home, and our driver sets boards under the rails before rolling it into place. Nothing about a driveway drop-off requires a permit. Street placement is different, most Wayne County cities want a right-of-way permit for that, and we will tell you what your city requires when you call.
